Being raised in the steel mill city of Gary, Indiana, most of my friends were Europeans. I had a job cleaning chicken coops for a Polish lady, had a Serbian girl friend in 6th grade and sold vegetables with a German friend. It never entered my heart or mind that the Father’s plan for my life would lead me to Sweden and Eastern Europe to minister in the churches and schools of just these ethnic groups. His diversity for my life has been a joy beyond measure!
